Our camping area is exclusive to your group for the duration of your stay. Forget overcrowded campsites with strict rules this is fully private with the knowledge of a friendly host nearby. The Burland's offers five spacious Bell Tents available exclusively for group stays. Each tent comes with a camping mattress, natural textures, and solar lights. The Bell Tents are ready for you to bring along your own bedding, towels, and cooking essentials.
Your outdoor space is made for connection. Gather around a large centralised fire pit, share stories beneath the stars, or enjoy breakfast to the sound of birdsong. Your party have access to a hot shower, a proper flushing toilet and a private dishwashing station exclusive to your group with the freedom to wander the estate at your leisure. We have a fishing lake on site.
We can also arrange a cooked breakfast or BBQ for your group if you wish. These need to be pre booked and additional charges do apply.
You will be personally greeted and guided through the beautiful grounds to your private camping field, set within the tranquil Burland's, private and gated Estate.
This is an off-grid experience for those who crave simplicity, fresh air, and time together. Whether it’s a wellness weekend, a surf trip, or a reunion with friends, The Burland's is the perfect setting to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy Devon life at its best.

Five private bell tents for max 10 adults (group hire only)

Camping mattress with fresh base sheets provided

Water supplied from The Burland's spring. 5L Bottles will be provided in each tent.

BBQ's with coals for the group (one bag on arrival, additional bags can be purchased) available on site

Cool boxes in each tent (feel free to bring ice to keep your items chilled)

Solar lighting in main area. Solar lanterns in each tent. However, torch would be advisable.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday: £35 per person per night. Min 3 nights.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: £20 per person per night. Min 3 nights.
Friday to Friday: £20 per person. Min 7 nights
Please note:
This is a tent-only offering. Guests must bring their own bedding, towels, cooking utensils, and camping equipment. There is no Wi-Fi or electricity on the campsite (you can access WI-FI on the estate if necessary) - the focus is on simple, off-grid living surrounded by nature.
